The Avila Beach Golf Resort is the most well-known of the Central Coast’s golf courses and offers each of our visitors a completely unique golfing experience. We are 3 miles off Highway 101, south of San Luis Obispo and northwest of Pismo Beach. Olin Dutra and Desmond Muirhead were responsible for the design, and the facility first opened for play in 1969. The resort, which is tucked away in the hills and at the water’s edge, has a par-72, 6,500-yard championship course, numerous, exquisitely designed event spaces, and a local pub where you can get tasty sandwiches and other small meals.
